Re Wendy's located at 32nd Street and 4th Avenue NE
I am a professional executive, and never in my life have I had such lousy service as I did today at the above mentioned Wendy's location! There were two cashiers, and I moved up to take my turn after a gentleman had finished with his order. The cashier next this mine was moving along and taking all the orders and handing them to the staff behind her to process. The cashier in front of me took a large order from the gentleman before me, and I watched and waited while she, herself, processed an order for 8 people. Not once did she make eye contact with me, or did she say she was sorry to make me wait. But I waited and watched, and 15 minutes later she was done. Then she took in some trays from a gal working the floors, and still she didn't acknowledge me! The cashier next to me just kept pushing her patrons through, but never once did she offer to take my order either. Patrons were watching, and from the looks on their faces one can tell that they were wondering too why I was just standing there while the line up was getting smaller and smaller. Then finally! I was looked at by my cashier, and she finally asked me what I would like. So I told her - I would like a tossed salad and a chef salad to take back to the office for the girls. She had no idea what I had asked for. So I repeated myself three times, and I could tell from her response that she couldn't understand what I was asking her. She couldn't even speak English!!, and she turned to the other cashier to help me with my question. The other cashier simply looked at me and very cooly said they didn't have what I wanted, and went back to her serving the customer line. Not a word of advice, nothing. In the meantime the cashier in front of me is ringing in a salad that she thought I was asking for! Never have I been so embarrassed, humiliated, and angered by any one place! I walked out and took my business next door to Harvey's, where not only was the cashier there cheerful and smiling, but she made me feel welcome and very happy to serve me. I went this morning (June 13 at 11am) to grab a Chicken BLT salad and was quite disappointed. There was about a half a cup of water at the bottom(not the first time) and this time there was NO chicken in it. Not one piece. Please pass this on to the manager and let him know some supervisation should be done.
Salads are generally good. The only problem is that they don't offer low-calorie dressing for ceaser salad.
